The system we have installed in the knitting facility collects data from nearly 180 IoT systems enabling us to trace the traceability of all knitting machines in the field, their efficiency is instantly monitored by the field workers, and fabric defects are caught and prevented during production on the machine using the artificial intelligence supported image processing. Further studies carry on artificial intelligence training for better functioning of the system. In the Paint and Finishing plant, all machines are supported by systems that are fully integrated and controlled 24 hours a day, including automation systems, planning and chemical consumption infrastructures. The smart rule system used in production recipes and process parameters ensures maximum sensitivity for each decision point and all systems communicate with ERP. Point by point data are reported automatically and sent to different production teams during the day, making it easier for people to make decisions. Our programme titled Technician 4.0 increases the digitisation competencies of employees. Moreso, all ideas from the production teams are evaluated and digitized in different MES applications.
Within the scope of the digitalization roadmap, the studies carried out all over the world were carefully researched and a new digitalization maturity index methodology was designed. This design is built on the MES as a digital measurement system. The maturity index levels in each department of the company are evaluated within the determined maturity stages, to calculate the general maturity index. This allows short and long-term development of our business and the planning of the actions to be taken.
